Featuring on Beats FM, the singer also expressed regrets over the fight that brought an end to the PSquare brand. The singer, now known as Rudeboy disclosed that he wasn’t himself at the time, adding that something came upon him then. When asked if the group will ever record a song together again, he said: “I don’t know.” Speaking further, Paul said, “My fans, take heart.   Former Chelsea midfielder, Frank Lampard, has revealed what striker, Alvaro Morata must do to be like club Legend, Didier Drogba.  Not more than thirty people (30) were charged to court in Ado Ekiti for open defecation and indiscriminate dumping of wastes in the state. Four(4) of the suspects who were underage were, however, discharged and acquitted while the other twenty-six (26) were convicted and sentenced to fines ranging from two thousand to four thousand naira. Magistrate Modupe Afeniforo who presided over the mobile court expressed hope that the development would serve as deterrence to people in the habit of dumping waste indiscriminately in the state. Reacting to the development, the state commissioner for Environment, Chief Bisi Kolawole said that the state would continue to implement the state Environmental and Sanitation laws to the letter as part of efforts at eradicating open defecation and indiscriminate dumping of refuse in the state.  A 54-year-old woman, Modupe Adepegba, was on Monday brought before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing building materials valued at N4 million. Adepegba, a trader, residing at No. 67, Ipaja Road, Agege, near Lagos, is being tried for conspiracy, stealing and damages. The Prosecutor, Sgt. John Christopher, told court that the offences were committed on Nov. 13 at 71B, Alfa Nla St., Agege. Christopher said that the accused claimed that the complainant, one Florence Haruna, took over her late father’s property. “She then took laws into her hands, went to the property with some touts and damaged burglary proof, valued at N300,000. “The accused, also stole 600 bags of cement and 25 tonnes of iron rods all valued at N4 million.” The prosecutor said that the complainant reported the case at the police station, leading to the arrest of the accused.  Veteran Nollywood comic actor, John Okafor, better known as Mr. Ibu, has revealed why he ended his boxing career to become an actor. In an interview with the Punch, the Nollywood star disclosed he was once a boxer. He said he quit boxing when a Delta boy battered his face in a championship fight. He said, ‘’I would have been a boxer. I used to be a boxer. I was doing well until I went for a championship in Delta State. ‘’The boy I fought with was an idiot; he gave me a beating I would never forget. That boy changed my face and made me hate anything that had to do with gloves. ‘’After the fight, I looked in the mirror and I could not even recognise myself. I could see with only one eye for sometime due to the punches he dealt me. That was the incident that made me quit boxing.’’

Nel-Peters 22, beat out first runner-up, Miss Colombia – Laura González and second runner-up, Miss Jamaica – Davina Bennett for the crown on Sunday night in Las Vegas, United States of America.  Stephanie Abasi, who represented Nigeria was not among the top 13 finalists for the night. The African rural world is one I know well. I grew out of rural poverty myself and went to a rural school without electricity and lived in a village where we had to walk for kilometres to find water. We had to study after dark with candles or kerosene lanterns. By God’s grace, I made it out of poverty to where I am today. But for tens of millions of those in similar situations, especially in rural Africa, the outcomes are not like mine. For most, the potential has simply been wasted. Some 60% of Africans live in rural areas. Such areas are dependent overwhelmingly on agriculture for livelihoods. The key to improving the quality of life in rural areas is therefore to transform agriculture. But the low productivity of farming, the poor state of rural infrastructure, digital exclusion and poor access to modern tools and agronomic information make the quality of life very low in these areas. A woman says Sen. Al Franken inappropriately touched her in 2010, telling CNN that he grabbed her buttocks while taking a photo at the Minnesota State Fair. It is the first allegation of improper touching by Franken, who is a Democrat, while he was in office. It comes just days after Leeann Tweeden, a local radio news anchor in California, said that Franken forcibly kissed and groped her in 2006, when Franken was a comedian. Franken has since issued an apology to Tweeden and faces a potential investigation by the Senate Ethics Committee. Imo State Police Command has arrested a couple, Ifeanyi Anyanwu and Amarachi Ugorji, for allegedly stealing and selling a two-year-old boy, Ikechukwu Nwachukwu, for N500,000. The couple allegedly stole the child on August 28 from his parents in Umuozu-Uguiri in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of the state. Prior to the incident, Anyanwu and Ugorji had sold their first child on credit to a man in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Andrew Enwerem, during a parade on Wednesday, said in the latest incident, the couple kidnapped and sold Nwachukwu for N500,000 to one Ifeanyinwa Duru. Duru was said to have resold the  boy to one Mrs. Chidinma Emmanuel, for N700,000. The police spokesperson, who described the development as worrisome, said the couple, Duru and Emmanuel were nabbed in Aba, Abia State, adding that the child was rescued unhurt.
