Teacher hailed for drawing Microsoft word screen on chalkboard to teach pupils

A number of teachers have to improvise to get their pupils a basic understanding of the things they teach them. One ICT teacher has literally gone back to the drawing board to teach pupils in his class how to use a computer. Making do with the resources available to him and determined not to let his charges fall behind, the teacher sketched an average Microsoft Word document on the chalkboard. The parts of the window are labelled, enabling the students to get a fair idea of the various parts of a typical Word document. Owura, whose bio notes that he is a former student of Kumasi Academy and currently studies at the University of Education, posted the pictures of the improvised ICT lesson on his Facebook page with the caption “Teaching of ICT in Ghana’s school is very funny. ICT on the board paa. I love ma students so have to do wat will make them understand Wat am teaching.” While some Facebookers have praised his ingenuity in the face of the lack of resources, others have expre

Soldiers Allegedly Supervise Demolition Of Factional Kaduna APC Secretariat

The factional secretariat of the Kaduna APC located along number 11 B Sambo in the state capital has been demolished in the early hours of today (Tuesday). Party sources told Channels Television that the secretariat belongs to the faction loyal to the suspended senators representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani and that of Kaduna North zone, Suleiman Hunkuyi. The demolition order was allegedly carried out by a bulldozer, accompanied by military personnel. It was opened last week as a parallel State APC office due to the inability of the group to reconcile with the State party organ. The property, a one-storey duplex was said to belong to Senator Hunkuyi before it was converted to a State Party Secretariat last week. On Sunday, the group held a meeting at the Secretariat, where they claimed to be the recognized state chapter by the APC national leadership Source: Duda updates

Tinubu was sidelined for ensuring that APC won the polls. —Tinubu’s wife

As the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, begins to reconcile warring sides in the ruling party, his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has decried that her husband was “trashed” after the party won the 2015 elections. President Buhari had mandated Tinubu to reconcile aggrieved party members ahead of the 2019 general elections, an assignment the former governor of Lagos State has since begun. But his wife, who is representing Lagos Central Senatorial District at the Senate, on Monday, alleged that Tinubu was sidelined despite his efforts towards ensuring that APC won the polls. Mrs. Tinubu, who disclosed that she was forced to discourage her husband from his continued loyalty to the Presidency and the APC, said the party leader was always harping on the development of the country. She said, “He was campaigning, I did too. We were running three campaigns in my house. And for him to be trashed like that? But I saw somebody who has love for this cou

But the rumour has now returned to social media a year-and-a-half later. Christian are idols worshippers- vanguard editor

Atheism does not exist. Man is a worshiper. Everybody worships. The critical question is who or what we worship. I went to buy blank videotapes in a van emblazoned with Christian VideoNet on both sides. When I came out of the van, an Asiatic gentleman engaged me in friendly banter. He was clearly not a Christian, but I soon got the impression he was in the marketplace for a new religion. He did not wait for me to witness to him. Having seen the insignia on the van, he wanted me to tell him about Christianity. But then he had some vital questions he wanted cleared up right at the onset. Your religion,” he asked, “does it allow you to drink alcohol?” “Yes,” I replied expansively, “we even drink wine in church.” “Wonderful, wonderful,” said my new-found friend, brightening up. Then he asked: “How many gods do you have?” I was a bit slow on the uptake and did not quite understand what he was getting at. What do you mean how many gods do I have?” I asked incredulously. “Yes, yes,”

Chelsea fans tell Antonio Conte which formation he should use against Barcelona

Chelsea face Barcelona in the first leg of their last 16 Champions League knockout tie at the Camp Nou on Tuesday night following their 4-0 win against Hull City in the fifth round of the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge on Friday, and Blues fans have urged manager Antonio Conte to play a 3-4-3 formation instead of a 3-5-2 system against the La Liga leaders. The Premier League holders face the daunting trip to the Catalan giants in midweek having played a 3-4-3 system against the Championship side on Friday, but it remains to be seen whether Conte will be willing to go with such an attacking setup in Spain. With Willian, Pedro and Eden Hazard all in form that formation would certainly make more sense if the Italian boss is willing to go for the win, but he could easily line up with three central midfielders in order to give his team more control in the middle of the park like he has previously. Chelsea fans would prefer to see their team line up in a 3-4-3 formation though, a

Black panther:A full description of post credit scenes

Like all Marvel movies, if you wait until the end of  Black Panther ’s flashy credits you’ll be rewarded with an extra scene. And if you wait all the way to the very end of the credits, past the bit where they acknowledge the help of the City of Toronto (usually), you’ll get another. The good news is that  Black Panther breaks with recent tradition and rather than giving us one  actual  scene and one comedy scene, both of these have potential ramifications for what comes next in the MCU. A full description of both scenes – and what they mean – can be found below: P ost-credits scene 1 In a UN-style meeting room, T'Challa addresses a number of international government representatives, confirming that Wakanda will abandon their isolationist stance and share their resources with the world. JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, went into rounds of laughter when the lawmaker presented him with two packs of anti-snake venom and offered the services of two snake charmers to fish out snakes that swallowed huge amount of money. The exams board said it suspended the staff, Philomena Chieshe, at its Makurdi office following the bizarre claim. In reaction to the development, the senator visited the JAMB headquarters to ascertain the truth of the matter and to lend his “assistance”. “The reason for my presence here is in response to the story that a snake swallowed about N36 million. It is my concern that such a huge amount of money is reported to have been swallowed by a snake. I believe the contribution I can make is to bring snake charmers from my constituency to the JAMB office to help them fish out the snake or weed out snakes from their premises,” Mr. Sani said. “If a snake can actually swallow N36 million one day we may wake up in this country to see that a snake has
