Neymar controversial transfer left many barcelona fans bitter

Some understood, others were enraged, but most supporters of Barcelona reacted with sadness to news that star striker Neymar was leaving, in all likelihood to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Catalan club announced that the 25-year-old wanted to leave, insisting however that the Brazilian’s 222 million euro ($260 million) buyout clause must be paid — an amount that would smash all transfer records. “It’s a blow,” said Javier Barranco, a 19-year-old psychology student in Barcelona. “It hurts because I thought he was going to grow here like (Lionel) Messi, that he was going to spend his entire career here and that he would be a Barca great for life.”

OFFICIAL!!! PSG sign world record neymar jr from barcelona

He was supposed to be the heir to Lionel Messi’s throne. Signed to complement the world’s best player, but ultimately to succeed him, Neymar was to be Barcelona’s next superstar. But instead, he leaves as another Luis Figo.
Despite being respected by many for his contribution to the game, his move from FC Barcelona to psg sent shockwaves throughout the football universe and also made him the target of hatred from fans at the Camp Nou. The world record signing of £222million earned him the titles of ‘Judas’, ‘Traitor’, and ‘Scum’ among many others from the fans and as a result his name, poster image and other marketing right was removed from Barcelona walls

AGRICULTURE......Agriculture the prominent mechanism for Africa Development.

Approximately two-thirds of sub-Saharan Africa’s population is dependent on agriculture and the sector is responsible for generating one-third of the continent’s GDP. With its vast arable land, Africa has the potential to not only feed its citizens but to export food to other regions of the world. It is therefore astonishing that Africa must import food and rely on food aid to feed its people. The majority of poor subsistence farmers lack the income to buy seeds, fertilizers and tools and the resources to set up even the simplest irrigation system.  Development assistance for agriculture could help provide the resources and the technical expertise to move smallholder farmers out of poverty, but development assistance for agriculture has declined dramatically in the last two-decades. Land-use policies and climate change have exacerbated the dire situation, as have the recent global food and financial crises. ONE urges development partners to implement the fol...
